2020 Will Be the Year of Small Weddings!

The last few months have been tough, but we can see the light at the end of the tunnel, and we can’t wait to get back to doing what we love – creating beautiful marquees for our lovely clients!

We had hoped that August would mark the start of relaxed restrictions for gatherings, with rumours that up to 30 people would be allowed to attend wedding receptions and other special occasions. Unfortunately, at the last-minute on the 31st July, a government announcement revealed no such change to the current guidelines. However, we are still busy working closely with our clients to ensure that their dream wedding or event will take place in the future.

To Postpone or Scale Down?

We know it has been a tough decision for many couples to postpone their weddings but there are many that are deciding to scale back their celebrations and still have their wedding day with the people they love the most – 2020 will be the year of gorgeous, intimate weddings!

More Intimate Weddings for Close Friends and Family

Smaller weddings can be just as wonderful as those done on a larger scale and it allows you to simplify your planning and focus on what’s really important on your big (or small) day. It’s also an opportunity to do things a little bit differently, family time is even more precious so perhaps create some new memories by organising team games, garden crochet or even giant Connect 4!
