Reflections on 2020 from a Marquee and Events Company

Well, 2020 has been quite a strange one and certainly a year of unexpected change and challenges.

We knew our team were fantastic at adapting and this year has proven and tested our ability to do that and it’s certainly a skill we have in plenty.

Having spent the past 17 years working in the wedding and events industry it’s a sought after skill and part of the thrill is reacting to challenges when working with clients, that inevitably happen along the way when planning events and weddings.

We would like to thank all our team at Barny Lee Marquees, our suppliers and clients for their patience, enthusiasm, and support throughout the year and wish them all a very Merry Christmas.

As we make the most of the family we can see during our Christmas break, we look to 2021 with hope and positivity in what will be a better year. We certainly will not take for granted every time we put up a marquee for a wedding of 200 people (or more than 30 for that matter!). These special moments will mean so much more when we can finally get the green light to start organising events with full guest lists again.
